When to ask for recovery
A car that will not start, a breakdown on the road or a vehicle that cannot continue needs a clear assessment first. You do not need a diagnosis: describe what you can see, warning lights and the way the car behaves. Tell us whether it is on a road, in a car park or somewhere with restricted access.
Agreeing the next step
We assess the pickup point, vehicle condition and requested destination with you. Before confirming assistance, we clarify the proposed service, cost and applicable conditions. A message starts this conversation; the operator confirms acceptance. If the car is rented, also explain any instructions from the rental company.
What to prepare
- Current location or a recognisable landmark.
- Make, model and fuel or power type.
- Observed problem and whether the car can move.
- Preferred destination, if known.
- A phone number where we can reach you.
What if I do not know the fault?
Describe what happened and what the car does. You do not need to identify a broken component before contacting us. See how quotes are assessed before agreeing the service.
