On the coast: describe the access as well as the place
If you stop in Durrës, Ksamil or elsewhere along the coast, a beach or hotel name may not identify the parking area where the car is stranded. Add the entrance, access road and a nearby landmark. Mention any barriers, ramps, height limits or narrow passages you know about. Find the place in the directory and add the precise vehicle location.
In the mountains: explain where the vehicle can be reached
In an area such as Theth, say whether the car is on a road, in a car park or on a different access route. Describe the road surface and conditions you can observe from a safe position. A place on a map does not establish that a recovery vehicle can reach your car. Access and equipment must be assessed; sending a request does not confirm off-road recovery.
Rental returns, flights and other deadlines
Contact the rental company before authorising transport and ask about the destination and procedure. If a return time or flight is approaching, tell the operator: it helps explain the situation but does not guarantee attendance by that deadline.
